The unique combination and alignment of all optical components, combined with Barco's unique I-Guard® sensor technology, offers exceptional performance and optimum image quality. The intelligent I-Guard® sensor constantly monitors light output and stabilizes the image quality to ensure continuous DICOM-compliance.

　　Innovative picture-in-picture functionality

　　Efficient medical viewing means looking at multiple images at the same time. Therefore, DICOM THEATER® is equipped with an innovative picture-in-picture functionality. This means that only one single projector unit is needed to display different modalities simultaneously. In this way, up to two data images and one video image can be combined.

　　The perfect combination and alignment of all components results in exceptional performance in a rear projection environment. Major advantage of the rear configuration is that the projection follows a controlled, pre-defined path, resulting in bright and sharp images which are almost independent from the amount of ambient light in the conference room. Furthermore, the presenter can stand in front of the image without casting shadows. And with the projection equipment behind the screen, the viewing area remains quiet, clear and tidy.
