　　The quad-headdigital lightbox system, combiningfour 20.8" portrait LCD displays, 10-bit graphics controllers and MediCal Pro QA management software, offers unprecedented image quality for accurate diagnoses (6144 x 2048 pixels). ImageTile® can be used in PACS reading rooms as well as any location where softcopy images are required, such as ER, OR and internist rooms.

　　For permanent diagnostic confidence, each flat panel display has its own I-Guard® sensor and Sentinel® function integrated for intervention-free image quality assurance.

　　I-Guard® is Barco's patent-pending, built-in calibration device, permanently maintaining image quality. I-Guard® allows radiologists or QA responsibles to calibrate their viewing stations or adjust the panel's curve to DICOM standards. In combination with the MediCal® QA management and calibration software package, ImageTile® offers a truly intervention-free display system, making it possible to perform QA checks from one central server at any time, thereby reducing lifecycle cost.

　　The innovative Sentinel® functionality permanently monitors system performance. Sentinel® turns ImageTile® into an intelligent, web-enabled device which can be addressed via the facility network through a user-friendly browser interface.

　　Functionality and Filmless Perfection

　　ImageTile® features Barco's 20.8" grayscale flat panel displays, with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels each. The 3MP LCD display, with its contrast ratio of 600:1 and high luminance, has been especially designed for softcopy imaging. The LCD panel is equipped with a protective diagnostic front cover, which protects the panel against damage from intensive use in clinical rooms.

　　Designed for use with Barco's LCD displays, the 10-bit BarcoMed 3MP2FH dual-head digital imaging board guarantees ultra-fast image loading and realistic image rendition. Barco's powerful 10-bit graphics controller displays the complete DICOM-conform data set with 1024 simultaneous levels of grey.
